Pixel Art is so cool.. If you’re a kid of the 80’s you grew up jumping little pixel men around a screen and jumping pixel frogs across a busy road dodging traffic and crocodile filled lakes. Who could forget that pixel giant ‘Donkey Kong’. All before the iPhone, pixel art was lo-fi and way cool. It’s still cool.. way cool!.. I love it. Here’s my ode to the low-fi, low-brow art which is built pixel by pixel, brick be brick. The video is amazing, even if you’re not a fan of pixel art make sure you watch it.
Wikipedia says: “Pixel art is a form of digital art, created through the use of raster graphics software, where images are edited on the pixel level. Graphics in most old (or relatively limited) computer and video games, graphing calculator games, and many mobile phone games are mostly pixel art.”
