A little bit of history: |
I grew up in the outer suburbs of Sydney’s west. As a youngster I spent my time skating and listening to punk rock. Now I chase the powder as a snowboarder. I have lived all around Sydney and now reside in the inner west. I studied art and graphic design after leaving High School. I have worked as a screen designer, new media designer and animator for over ten years. I consider myself to be an expert in user experience (UX) design, usability, and interface (UI) design. I also practice information architecture (IA), believing this to be a key factor in many forms of design. |

After high school I studied Fine Art, I left to study design and gained a Bachelor of design (Visual communication – Hons.) I am currently furthering my studies in design and learning to speak Japanese. |
Other: |
When I’m not designing on the web, or making images, I could be enjoying my collection of punk rock, or travelling to cold climates chasing powder on my snowboard. I watch alot of sport, I drink alot of coffee. I also enjoy eating fine foods complimented with a fine wine and travelling to new or familiar places where I may or may not have visited previously. I would like to combine all these things by embarking on a travelling food and wine safari/snowboarding/sports and music festival/adventure. |

About this site
This site is a work in progress that will serve as a constant experiment in the exploration of art direction on the web. It will be designed for the future of the web and as it is predominantly an experiment I can not guarantee all layouts will work in older browsers.
I will be updating the look to improve what you now see on–screen over the next few months. I sent this site live while it was still in the prototype stage. This was due to time restrictions, as I just wanted to 'release' the content. I don't see this as a bad thing as the progression of this site will be in this process a 'live' design. Something I find exciting. Your feedback is welcome.
Primarily the site will serve as an outlet for the new media designs & digital image making of graphic designer Matt Lindsay.

Work status
Current status
UPDATE! I recently started a full-time position as a UX Design consultant for a global company. I'm excited to get my teeth into this role working at the forefront of new technology. I won't have alot of time to consider other projects, however I will consider the right project and I'm always looking to work on exciting stuff. Drop me a line and we can talk.
